A. L. Harbin Mrs. Lisa Mae Lipscomb Harbin, 68, died at her Butler Springs Road, yesterday at 5:30 p.m. after two weeks illness.

She was a native of Greenville County, and daughter of the late Preston B. and Sue Hammond Lipscomb. Her husband, Alonzo L. Harbin, died here last October. Mrs.

Harbin was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Perry P. Harbin of Greenville; a daughter, Miss Mary Harbin of the home; four brothers, Lewis, Leonard and J. N. Lipscomb of Greenville and W.

P. Lipscomb of Spartanburg, and a grandchild. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Jones Funeral Home. Jimmy Brown SIMPSONVILLE Jimmy Dean Brown, 5-month-old son of Charles and Bobbie Jean bree Brown of Rt. 1, Simpsonville, died early Friday morning at his home after a day illness.

Bishop WHITNEY Walter H. Bishop, 74, of 7 Church Whitney, died at a Spartanburg hospital Thursday at 7:05 p.m. after several years of declining health. He was a native of Spartanburg County and formerly was treasurer and secretary of Whitney Mills 25 years. He was also a retired secretary of Moreland Chemical Co.

and had served as postmaster at Whitney. He was a Mason and a member of Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg. He was a son of the late E. E. and Sallie Setzler Bishop.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Chapman Bishop; two daughters, Mrs. George Cannon of North Charleston and Mrs. Clyde Johnson of Ormond Beach. a son, Walter H.

Friday after 14 months of declining health and a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Pickens County, a son of the late James G. and Victoria Louise Madden Powers. He was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church.

W. L. Gilbert PIEDMONT William Lamar Gilbert, 62, of Rt. 1, Piedmont, died at an Easley hospital at 1 p.m. Friday after an extended illness.

A son of James E. Gilbert and the late Rachel Denton Gilbert, he was a native of Georgia, but had lived in Anderson County 12 years. He owned and operated Gilbert and Sons Garage on Highway 81. He was a member of the Mountain Springs Baptist Church and the Men's Adult Bible Class of the Sunday School. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

C. Vaughn GRAY COURT William Calvin Vaughn, 55, lifelong resident of the Dials community near Gray Court, died at his home at 5 a. m. Friday following three years declining health. He had been ill one month.

Mr. Vaughn was a farmer and a son of the late William Thomas and Julius Babb Vaughn. He was a member of Dials Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Etta Armstrong Vaughn; two sons, William Thomas Vaughn of Laurens and David Calvin Vaughn of the home; two daughters, Mrs.
