Crackerby SATURDAY 8:30 p.m. Lawrence Welk 9:30 p.m. Hollywood Palace in addition to these network programs to be telecast in color, WLOS-TV has scheduled an rriday Night Movies begin ning with the October 1 telecast to run in color. This two hour film extravaganza will include such great movies as "The uenn Miller Storv". "Bov On A Dolphin", "Battle Hymn", "Pil- iow xaiK", -me Miracle", "Magnificent Obsession". "Op eration Petticoat". "Silk Stock ings and many more. Channel 13 will program color cartoons on Mr. Bill's moraine Dron-am wnen uiey are available. Occa sionally, color film will be used in covering the areas biezest news stories. WLOS-TV and ABC look forward, with anticipation, to (he biggest year ever in color. Indications at the present time are that more and more color shows will be added to the schedule and the station will keep viewers notified about all developments pertaining to color.
