Austell Hulsey GREER Austell Hulsey, 66, of 213 Buncombe died Saturday.

Born in Hall County, son of the late R. R. and Velmie Maness Hulsey, he was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Mae Garrison Hulsey; four daughters, Miss Bonnie Hulsey, Mrs.

Geraldine Ballenger and Mrs. Alice Faye Suttles of Greer and Mrs. Linda Mae Bishop of Greenville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Pauline Gallamore of Miami, and Mrs. Betty Ross of Taylors; three sons, Bennie and Bobby Husley of Greer and Tommy Husley of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs.

Hester Lewellan of Greer and Mrs. Verona Jones of Greenville; nine grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary, with burial in Hill-crest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Edwards Upton; three daughters, Mrs. William Looney and Mrs. Andrew Bentley of Greenville and Miss Peggy Upton of Mauldin; two sons, Marshall T. Upton and Thomas Upton of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs.

Joseph Kutylo and Mrs. Ernie Alexander of Riverside, four brothers, Ray Upton of Riverside, Ted Upton of Shelby, N.C., James Upton of Oteen, N.C. and Boyd Upton of Springdale, N.C; and three grandsons. Services will be in Graceland Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The family is at the home of Mrs. William R. Looney, 227 Maryland Avenue, Welcome Community-Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. David Childers GAFFNEY David Childers, 51, of 32-B Highland Courts, died Saturday. Born in Cherokee County, he was a son of the late Grant and Matie Thompson Childers.

Surviving are three Mrs. Boyce Youngblood EDGEFIELD Mrs. Marjorie Cato Young-, blood, 60, wife of Boyce Youngblood, of 508 Augus- ta Road, died Saturday. Born in Edgefield County, daughter of Mrs. Lillie Belle Douglas Cato of Augusta and the late Ernest Boyd Cato, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Edgefield.

Surviving also are a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Quarles of Johnston; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Kluge of Richmond, Mrs. Ruby McDaniel of Belvidere and Mrs. Dot Russell of Augusta; four brothers, L.A.

and Wood-row Cato of Graniteville, Harvey Cato of Orlando, Fla. and Ernest Cato of Trenton; two grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Trenton, with burial in the church cemetery. Hollingsworth Funeral Home.

Fay W. Simpson Fay W. Simpson, 92, of 30 Conestee Greenville, died Saturday. Born in Simpsonville, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs.

John P. Simpson, he was a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and until his retirement he had taught and served as school principal in both the North and South Carolina schools, was a poet and song writer. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Grace S'. Smoak of Augusta, a son, F.

2, Woodruff, died Saturday. Born in Spartanburg County, son of the late Nesbitt and Elvira Drum-mond Brown, he was a self employed farmer, one of the oldest members of Antioch Baptist Church, a life member of Woodmen of the World Lodge, Camp No. 367.
