45 ORANGE BLOSSOM CAKE The tall, light cake for a special occasion! cup butter cups Occident cup shortening Flour cups sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 grated tsp. baking tsp. peel powder orange 3 1 cup orange juice eggs Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add orange peel and eggs, one at a time; beat well.

Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with orange juice. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans. together with Orange Filling: cup at 25 to 30 min. combines layers sugar and 3 tbsp. Occident Flour in saucepan; add 1 cup orange juice and 2 egg yolks.

Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Cook min. Stir in 2 tbsp. butter. Using 2 egg whites, make 7-minute frosting for top and sides.
