Victory came to Newberry over Wofford this afternoon in a scrappy msketball battle by the margin of one point, tee final score being 19 to 1.

The contest was close from beginning to end. neither team ever being over three points in the lead. The first half ended a draw, the score being 9 to i). A long goal by Wollet tossed from back of the center of the court gave Newberry the game in the iart two minutes of play. Wofford played fighting baeketball and though weary from a four-day trip concluded in North Carolina thursday night, were an even match for the Ited-skins.
