Lemke, Union party candidate, carried his campaign for the presidency into the home state of Governor Alf M. Landon, republican nominee, tonight and asserted both of his major party opponents had failed to provide a workable plan to aid farmers. She is also survived by one brother, Charles Powell, of Greenville, and one sister, Mrs. Ollie Durham in addition to seven grandchildren. Funeral will be heid probably tomorrow, the time and place to be announced by James F. Mackey and Sons. Until further announcements the body is at the home of her daughter, Mrs.

Christopher SIMPSONVILLE, Aug. 27. Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret J. Christopher, wife of A.

M. Christopher of near Simpsonville, were conducted from Sharon church this afternoon by the Rev. C. L. Boyter.

27. Funeral services were held today at Camp's Creek church for Samuel A. Allison, 78, retired farmer, who died yesterday after a long period of declining health. Pallbearers were Chief of Police H. H.

Lockhart, Patrolman Oscar Fortenberry, Deputy Sheriff D. B. Byars, Gil White and A. C. Parker.

27-Mrs. Mary Calvert, Thomas, daughter, 84, died Mrs. at, the R. Owens, South Main street, here this morning at 11:20 o'clock following an illness of two years. She was the widow of the late William Thomas.

She is survived by five sons, J. W. O. C. and G.

C. Thomas; five daughters, Mrs. R. L. Hammett, Mrs.

W. A. Owings, Mrs. J. R.

Owens, Mrs. A. R. Holmes and Mrs. W.

P. Castleberry; one sister, Mrs. M. O. Gentry; 31 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be announced later pending the arrival of relatives from California. The body is at the residence of Mrs. Owens pending the time for the services. John Lee Camp John Lee Camp, for many years agent for the Southern railway at Easley, died in a Greenville hospital at 8:05 last night after several months of illness. The family home is at 541 West Main street in Easley.

Mr. Camp was twice married. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maybeth Johnson Camp, and by the following son and daughters his former marriage, Joe T. Camp, Washington, N.

Mrs. Olin C. Lynn, Atlanta, and Mrs. C. B.

Mark, Nashville, Tenn. He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. E. S. Holbrook of Baltimore, Mrs.

Jud Head. Talapoosa, and Mrs. Bert Skinner, Douglasville, Ga. Mr. Camp was a member of the First Methodist church at Easley and at one time served as a trustee of the Easley schools.

He was member of the Woodmen of the World. Funeral plans await the arrival of relatives from a distance and until further announcements the body is at the Mackey mortuary. Mrs. Annie H. Brock Hardin Brock, widow of Clarence Brock, former prominent Andersondan, died this morning at 4:30 o'clock in General hospital at Greenville where she had been under treatment for the last several weeks.

Mrs. Brock was born at Chester, the daughter of the late W. Holmes and Mrs. Martha Guy Hardin, scions of pioneer American stock. She was married some 30 years ago and had since made her home in Anderson.

She WAS identified with the religious and social life of the city and was a devoted member of St. John's Methodist Episcopal church. Mrs. Brock is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charles Edward Bauknight; two grandsons, and several brothers and sisters.

Entrekin GRAY COURT, Aug. Fleming Entrekin, 80, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Bramlett in the Warrior Creek section of the county at 8 o'clock tonight. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sam Taylor and Mrs.

Bramlett; one son, Robert Entrekin, and four grandchildren. His wife, Mrs. Mary McTeer Entrekin, died six years ago. Funeral services will be conducted from the Warrior Creek Baptist church at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon by the Rev. L.

H. Ferguson and the Rev. L. L. Langston.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mack Burns, R. L. Robertson, Fred Walker, Ralph Burns, M. B.

Leopard and Theodore Sumeral. Joseph M. Morris TUCAPAU, Aug. M. Morris, 73, 17 Church street, died at his home here this morning at 8:35 o'clock.

He had been in declining health some months. He had here for several years and was employed in the spinning department of the Startex mills. He was twice married. His first wife died some years ago. He is survived by his second wife, Mrs.

Janie Johnson Morris; three daughters, Miss Martha Jane Morris; Mrs. Minnie Pearson and Mrs. Margaret Jarrett; three stepchildren, Jesse Johnson, Mrs. Leona Smith and Miss Willie Mae Johnson; one sister, Mrs. Sallie Rodgers, 18 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted from Poplar Springs Baptist, of which the deceased was a member, Friday morning at 11 o'clock by the Rev. R. R. Brady. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The following grandsons will serve as active pallbearers: Ebb Nolan, Jamie and Lawrence Pearson, John and Bub Jarrett. Pending the hour for the service the body is at the late re residence. VISIT MRS. BROWNING PELZER. Aug.
