Ray Robinson Gets Fine, 30-Day Layoff NEW YORK (U.R) Welterweight Champion Ray Robinson, starting a 30-day suspension from ring activity in New York, said today he would go to his Greenwood Lake, N. camp next Monday and begin training for a bout to be fought after he finishes his suspension. Robinson, who received the suspension and a $500 fine Monday as punishment for failure to report a bribe offer concerning his scheduled bout with Marty Servo last year, said the suspension would be observed strictly, and no negotiations for a bout would be carried on for the 30 days.
