Stark is expected to 4srfue a call for a special session of the legislature tomorrow for funds Co revive the bankrupt direct relief jSYbgram. Interfiled said the call ftirobably would convene the legislators July 22 a week from next Monday. That date would allow the lawmakers two weeks of deliberation before the August 6 primary. The social security commission estimated it will need about 1 dollars to meet the relief needs the last five months of the itear. This month's allotment all but exhausted the agency's regular appropriation.

So in their coolest gowns the guests imved. Presently they were ushered into a cool, partially darkened lining each plate on the table looked like a lovely bouquet colorful as the low bowl of real garden flowers in the Center of the table.

WHAT'S IN A BOUQUET? Of course, the guests knew that they would not be expected to eat flowers. But what were those bouquets? Investigation toon revealed that on each plate there were 6 lettuce cup holding a serving of a different kind of salad. In the center of the jlate there were sprigs of crisp watercress and one dainty ganjfen lower. Closer examination showed how very clever the hostess had been in arranging a selection of salads that would really make a well- meal. The salad nearest each guest was an appetiser i slice of tomato with a whole shrimp a top it and a fluff of mayonnaise.

Next to thio was a serving of chicken main dish of meal. The next lettuce cup held a green it might have been a tossed garden aalad to supply the vegetables "or the meal. There wan a sharp French dressing over these vegetables Vhen came a "dessert" salad of sticks, strawberries, cherries and strips of avocado with a sweet French dressing. fifth lettuce cup held a serving of refreshing lerion sherbet. TIIE KREAD ACCOMPANIMENT The bread accompaniment with this salad luncheon was a tray of piping hot tenderest, fluffiest muffins you ever put into your mouth.

And there wore cups of steaming this hostess knew that an all-cold-meal was not advisable tven on day. Dainty little butter cookies were passed later to eat with the sherbet. Here the recipe for the Sour Cream Muffins which were served vith this salad lunch: SOUR CREAM MUFFINS I CKR I'A cups sifted low 1 cup thick sour cream Vt tap. salt butter fat) Yi tap. soda 1 thsp.
