Making Plans for State Shoot Knock 1" Not with the idea of dispensing any sarcasm perish the thought I but more with the intention of aiding the game, we present herewith a set of rules which all drug store coaches, soda fountain quarterbacks, and last-row gridiron geniuses may follow to insure themselves a successful season: 1. Don't hesitate to knock Coach Lambeau. He has coached the team 1 7 years and has only produced four national championships.

A really hot coach would have had 17. 2. Criticize at every opportunity the men who are operating the Packers. They may include some of the most successful business men in the city, but your ideas of handling a corporation probably are based on a lot more experience. 3.

Express wherever you can your disgust because the team is playing four home games this season, instead of ten or eleven. True, it usually lost money on a fifth-game arrangement, and you probably weren't present for those Sta-pleton and Brooklyn games, but you have your constitutional rights to consider just the same. 4. If Hinkle is having a great day, and a substitute is sent in for him during the third period, be sure and boo as loudly as possible. Of course, Clarke may have a busted rib, or something else that only' the coaches and trainers know about, but they should have consulted you before making the change.

5. Be sure and express your opinion, as often as you can, that all the players are far underpaid and extremely dissatisfied. It's correct that Green Bay nearly lost the franchise a few years ago, and that some of the officials are still mopping their brows about it, but after all, why be extravagant and carry any cash balance at all? 6. When you enter the stadium this fall, and see all the new seats that have been installed, don't hesitate to announce that you regard the expenditure as a vast waste of money. Even if a few hundred people were turned away from the Bear game last year, there's no reason why they should be considered.

You have your seat. 7. If it's fourth down on the 30-yard line, and Her-ber calls for a forward pass instead of a field goal, howl loudly as soon as you notice the mistake. Even if Arnie has been biffed around a bit more than you during the afternoon, and the kicking angle is bad, don't let anyone tell you you can't call signals. But be sure and shut up if Hutson catches that pass.

8. Beef about the schedule every time you can. What if the Packers aren't running the league? the games should be arranged so you can see all the contests you want to, without driving as far as Milwaukee for the pleasure. 9. Express your displeasure frequently because two games a year are played in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee never does anything more for the Packers than to send ten or twelve thousand people out to see them, and ship hundreds more up to Green Bay each Sunday. Why should they get any breaks? 1 0. In short, brother, it's about time for you to Join the brigade again. And if you howl long and loud enough, maybe you'll get your wish some day and you can spend your Sunday afternoons playing checkers, or driving to Chicago to see a professional football game. on Aug.
