(Al) Stef-fes, 60, veteran Minneapolis theater man who died Wednesday at University Hospitals, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Gill Brothers chapel and 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's church. Burial will be at Lake-wood.

Born in Minneapolis in 1885, Mr. Steffes was at one time a national figure in independent motion picture exhibitor affairs. Operator of the World theater, he had been in semi-retirement for several years. He was once president of Norths west Allied Theater Owners as sociation and Allied States associ ation and had been chief barker of the Variety club, showmen's or- ganization. He was a member of Elks lodge and Minneapolis Ath letic club.
