Attending the bridegroom were John Barger, bestman; Robert Behrens and Mark Francis, groomsmen; Raymond Shine and Richard Kempe, ushers. After a reception held in their honor at Floyd's Restaurant in Carpentersville, the couple left for their honeymoon to Milwaukee. The bride, a graduate of Crystal Lake High School, is employed by. Information Systems.

The bridegroom, a graduate of Crystal Lake High School South, is employed by the city of Crystal Lake of Jack and Darlene Zurek of Crystal Lake. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white, floor-length gown trimmed with lace and pearls. It was designed with a Queen Anne neckline, long sleeves, and skirt flowing into a cathedral length veil. Her hat was trimmed with veiling and she carried a bouquet of white and burgundy carnations, tea roses, and babies breath. Attending the bride were Lynn Zurek, maid-of-honor; and bridemaids Anita Keller and Elizabeth Behrens.

Samet of East Dundee has graduated from the St. Mary's Hospital of Medical Technology, Decatur. She is among the 87 persons who have completed graduate requirements since the school was opened 20 years ago. She earned a bachelor of science degree In medical technology from Eastern Illinois Univesity, and upon completion of studies at St. Mary's will become eligible to take a credentialing examination to become a registerd medical technologist.

Florentine Wllk of Carpentersville recently recerved her master of arts degree in guidance and counseling from Roosevelt University. In addition to pursuing her graduate degree, she is a staff member at Lovelton, an alcohol treatment program in Elgin. She also is a volunteer in Peer Assistance Network for Nurses, and has her own private practice as a therapist. She presently is working on her certification as an associate alcohol counselor and plans to continue her education as a psychologist at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, Des Plaines. Kristen Leigh Krop and David William Krempel were united in marriage March 10, in the Congregational Church of Algonquin.

The Rev. Gary Miller officiated the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Eugene and Nancy Krop of Algonquin and the bridegroom is the son of Lynn and Pat Krempel of Fox River Grove. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an old-fashioned white, floor length gown made with Chantilly lace. It was designed with a high neckline, full, long sleeves, full skirt flowing into a Cathedral length train.

Her veil was attached to a cap, which was trimmed with pearls. She carried a cascade of silk flowers including white roses. Debi Novak was the maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids are Kim Choklad, Kyle Krop, Jeanne Necker, Megan Kennedy and Darlene Ulmer. Amanda Reed was the flower girl.

Nina Armagno, daughter of Tony and Naida Armagno of East Dundee, has accepted an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy, one of 1,500 students in the nation to be selected. Armagno will enter basic cadet training on July 6, 1984, for the beginning of the four year course. Armagno recently graduated number one in her class from Dundee-Crown High School. MR. AND MRS.

LARRY ZUREK Service people Terry Curtright, a 1980 graduate of Dundee High School, completed her third year at the United States Air Force Academy. Cadet Curtright made the Commandant's List for outstanding achievement in military training. Cadet Curtright Just completed the airmanship program when she soloed in a single engine aircraft. and Mrs John Wuich of Carpentersville. recently received a four-year AFROTC Scholarship. Wuich applied for the scholarship last fall, along with over 14,000 other high school seniors. He is one of 1,230 who will receive a scholarship. Wuich will study such subjects as Air Force organization and history, the military as instruments of national power, and management and leadership techniques.

At the same time he will be pursuing studies in engineer lng. The scholarship pays for tuition, books, and other fees, and an additional $100 a month tax-free while he Is In school. His scholarship is worth in excess of $20,000 at Iowa State University which he will attend next fall. Wuich is a recent graduate of Dundee-Crown where he was in the top 5 percent of his class. Michael Huston, son of Robert W. and Joann M. Huston of Carpentersville has been awarded a Meritorious Mast while serving with' Third Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine lurpsneiicopicrAirsiauon, lUMin. Calif. A Meritorious Mast Is offical recognition from a Marine's commanding officer for superior individual performance.

He graduated from St. Edward High School recently and was salutatorian of his class. During high school years he serv-. ed as class president, was a member of the Latin club, active on the year book staff and was a member of the tennis team.
