Monday thru Saturday the Algonquin Jay-cees is seeking the public's help in selecting an Outstanding' Young Man and Algonquinite of the Year for 1975. These awards will be presented at their Annual Distinguished Service Award Banquet to be held at Port Edward Restaurant on Jan. 21, 1976. In addition to these two awards, the Jay-cees will honor their bosses and the many people in the community who have helped them with their projects during the past year. To be eligible for the Outstanding Young Man Award, an individual must be between the ages of 18 and 36; the Algonquinite of the Year may be a male or female of any age living in the Algonquin postal district.

Drewke Sr. Albert A.

Drewke 54, of 170 Austin Carpentersville, died Monday, Dec. 8 at the University of Chicago Medical Center Billings Hospital. He was born Feb. 23, 1921 in Chicago, the son of Albert and Elsie Peterson: Drewke. He had been employed as a bus driver for the Chicago Transit Authority for 29 years, and had been a resident of Carpentersville for 19 years.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Crystal Lake Lodge, and VFW Post .5 9 15 of Carpentersville. He is survived by his wife, Joan M. (Strusz), whom he married in 1952; four sons, Albert A. a cadet at West Point, Frederick James and Ronald all at home; two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Joan Suzanne) Leoni, and Patricia Anne, at home; two brothers, Robert of Prospect Heights, and Otto serving in the U.S.

Navy at Sturtevant, and one sister, Mrs. Daniel (Virginia) Basile, of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers in infancy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, 11 a.m.
