PAULRAILROAD Resigns as Assistant Solicitor to Engage in General Practice of Law, of the decoration committee are making their preparations, the chairmen of this committee being Misses Ar-leen Joannes, Marie Larsen, Laura Slaughter and Klttie Townsend.

The I members of the club will assist the chairmen in the decoration. Green and red, the Christmas colors, will be used exclusirely In the hall. The programs for this affair were donated by Samuel Earle of Chicago and are most artistic. The patronesse for the ball are Mesdames V. E.

The few remaining days before the holidays are the busiest time of the year for most people. The Monday Shakespeare club held its last meeting Monday afternoon, the Catholic Woman's club ceased meeting until after the first of January, their last meeting was held Tuesday afternoosu The Nomads, Would-ne-Tourisps and Shakespear club have all held their last meeting for the year 1910. However, although, the clubs and societies have ceased for the time being, there are several social events being planned for the holiday season. Most of the young people of the city will be home for the holidays and there will be numerous affairs given at this tim Among the chief events which will take place the week intervening between Christmas and New Year's is the Charity ball, which is to be given Dec.

29, at Turner hall. The members of the Wallack club will also give a dancing party during that week. This will be given the 27th of this month. On New Year's eve there will in all probability be numerous watch parties given in the city. After the first of the new year the social activities will again be taken up by all.

Munro, formerly general attorney of the Chicago Milwaukee Electric Railway company, and Will-lam P.

Vroman, son of Charles E. Vroman, are the others associated with the former Green Bay attorney. The legal firm has offices In the Marquette building. F. ELECTS DAVIS TO THE PRESIDENCY Badger Council Holds Annual Meeting and Will Install Officers Jan. 4 at the Eagles Nest Membership Increasing. National Fraternal league, Badger council, held the annual meeting Wednesday evening and elected new officers for the ensuing year, transacted some important business and twelve new members were initiated, after which a sociable time was en joyed. The following officers were elected: Councilor, M.

E. Davis; vice councilor, Mrs. Kellogg; past councilor, W. G. Cobb; orator, Charles Lolgnon; secretary, C.
