He had a model of the television machine and demonstrated how It operates, G. A. Mclntosb, manager of Newman, was present and gave a short talk.

Other features of the program were several violin numbers given by Karl Ingelreisen, accompanied by Miss Ella Kurd at the piano, and a reading by Walfred Knutson. E. K. Kilgore had charge ot the arrangement of thr. program and presided as chairman at the luncheon.

Patterson to Play For County Title PATTERSON, Dec. 21. The Patterson high school basketball team will play the Modesto high school basketball team at tho local high school gymnasium Thursday evening for the county championship.
