Tells of Betrothal Louis Clark The announcement tha engagement of Miss Mildred Elleby to Louis Clark was made known to her IrisndB at a pretty parly presided over by Miss Dorothy Boraberger in her home at 111 McHsary avenue. The affair was also a miscellaneous shower and the happy bride-to-be was the recipient of many lovely gifts from her friends. Games and music helped to pass lie evening, Miss Martha Jerita Ross gave a number of humorous Plano-logues and Alta Hascall a tolo number. Augustine proved interesting with its events and places among which was the oldest homejjB in the United States. From Florida they motored to Washington, stopped at Mt Ver- jion' and spent July 4 at Gettysburg. They visited at Atlantic City, Now York, and drove as far north.as Boston, Mass. They, visited an island forty out in the Atlantic ocean. They stopped several days at Niagara Falls, New York and Canada.

In Detroit they taken through the' Ford plant and then drove around tho Great Lakes to Chicago and 'on to Yellowstone Bark. They returned, by Laka Tahoe, which they pronounced the most, beautiful body of water on- the entire trip.
