Ballet scholarship auditions set Scholarship auditions will be held Saturday at the Jackson Ballet School in the Arts Center. Scholarships available include the Rex Cooper scholarships for boys ages 9-11 and 12-15; the Albia Kavan Cooper Scholarship for girls ages 9-11 and 12-15 and the Mary Alice Bookhart Scholarship for male and female Millsaps students Auditions will be held at noon for girls of all ages and at 1 p.m. for boys of all ages. Soccer league elects new officers The Southwest Jackson Soccer League recently elected its officers for the 1980-81 season.

They are Jim Hankins, commissioner; Carrol Sturdi-vant, president; Art Richard, vice president; Jon Matthews, secretery; Stanley Stuart, treasurer; Bill James, field director; Claude Miller, head referee; Kurt Thompson, head coach; and Frank Arender, program director. Maj. Gen. Cohen Shelly L. White, 111 Santa Clara has been promoted to the rank of colonel in the Mississippi Army National Maj. Gen.
