Felker, 72, of Deckard Street, a homemaker, died of cancer Saturday at home. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Felker was a native of Rienzi.

She was a former cosmetologist. She was a member of Van Winkle Baptist Church and the Women's Professional Bowling Association. "She liked working with people, especially kids. She worked sheriff's department for a long time and helped them set up their IBM system." said her husband, John. "She enjoyed fishing and hunting, and she just loved the outdoors.

We went fishing a lot and hunting some. We had been married 52 years. She was a good wife." Kenneth Ray Blaney retired truck driver CASH BAYOU, La. Kenneth Ray Blaney, 60, a retired truck driver for Mississippi Fast Freight, died of cancer Saturday at home. Services are 2 p.m.

Wednesday at Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday, with burial in Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island, La. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Blaney was a native of Cash Bayou.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was a member of the John P. Bird Masonic Lodge in Pearl, Miss. Survivors include: wife, Betty; sons, Kenneth Blaney Jr. of Fayette, and Bill Wiley of Vicksburg, daughters, Cynthia Baca of Moreno Valley, and Robin Bush and Liz Keoning, both of Baton Rouge; brothers, Charles Blaney and Gerald Blaney, of Vidalia, Bill Blaney of Houston, Texas, and Ronnie Blaney of Sicily Island; and eight grandchildren.

Cora Boyles homemaker CALHOUN CITY Cora Van Johnson Boyles, 79, a homemaker, died of a stroke Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford. Mrs. Boyles was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church. She was the widow of George B. Boyles. Survivors include: sons, George Boyles Jr.

of Yorktown, Howell Boyles of Dahlgren, and James Boyles of Slidell, sisters, Elise Patterson of Calhoun City and Lily Alewind of Norcross, and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Andrew Cheeks retired chief petty officer PASCAGOULA Andrew "Vernon" Cheeks, 76, a retired chief petty officer in the Navy, died of cancer Sunday at Singing River Hospital. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Cheeks was a native of Laurel and had lived in Pascagoula since 1970. He was a Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Pascagoula.

He was treasurer of the Submarine Veterans of World War II. He was a member of Mount Zion Methodist Church in Ellisville. today and 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Hines was a native of Tylertown. He graduated from McComb High and attended Mississippi State University and Port Arthur College.

He and partner Bill Tyler were actively involved for many years in real estate and other business affairs in McComb and the Pike County area. He worked with WSKB in McComb and was affiliated with WHNY for many years, serving first as an engineer, then as general manager. In 1969, he and his partners filed for a radio station in McComb, receiving FCC approval in 1975 for WAKK. Their second station, WAKHFM, signed on the air several years later. He was a member of the Mississippi Broadcasters Association and the Southwest Mississippi Amateur Radio Club.

He worked for Sammons Communications as manager of the McComb, Brookhaven and Waynesboro cable systems until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of First Baptist Church in McComb. He was past president and a 40-year monarch of the McComb Noon Lions Club. He was also a Mason and a member of the Southwest Mississippi Shrine Club and the Wahabi Temple. Survivors include: wife, Mildred; special friend and caregiver, Gloria Quinn of Jayess; and several cousins.

Mr. Hunt was a member of the Church of Christ. She was the widow of Daniel P. Lott. Tuesday at Cockrell Funeral Home. Mrs. Tate was a native of Durant where she graduated from high school. She graduated from Holmes Junior College. She worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority, helping to establish rural electric service throughout the southeastern United States.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was the widow of William B. Survivors include: daughter, Sara Chrimes of Sparta, N.J.; son, Dale Tate of Jackson, and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Macon or the Alzheimer's Foundation. J.A.
