Community Tree Program In cooperation with area sponsors, Ecology Crossroads will be distributing up to 100,000 trees to homeowners, community groups, neighborhood associations and farm owners in South Jersey and throughout the Delaware The distribution will take place on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 27, 28, 29 and 30th in Sewell, New Jersey on Route 603, just off of 553 at Ledden's Garden Center. If you need trees for your home or if you need trees in your community call us to reserve some. You can reserve up to 20 trees per household or family, with the exception of larger numbers for farm owners and groups. You can select which types of trees you want from the listbelow, and mix up to 5 varieties or order 20 of the same when you place your reservation.

Reservations are required in order for us to guarantee your trees. We will take reservations by telephone weekdays, from 9am 5pm, September 6th through October 7th. Or you can stop by in person at Ledden's Garden Center to fill out a reservation card. Availability and quantities of certain varieties is limited and will be reserved on a first call basis. If the line is busy, please keep trying we will be taking calls through our reservation deadline of October 7th.

A donation of 50 per tree is requested to help us continue with and fund the program. Area businesses can also participate by sponsoring schools and other groups. "We make all of our pastries from scratch on the premises," Marge says. "They're made the old fashioned way with only fresh quality ingredients. We try to make something new to offer our customers every week." Fall specials include such delights as Apple Pan Dowdy, Strudel and Victorian pastries. Holiday times bring on even more surprises at the pastry shop.

The shelves are virtually brimming with everything from Easter Bunny cakes and Valentine Strawberry Short cakes to Pfeffemus (special Christmas cookies). Italian pastries and cannolis are especially popular. Cookie trays and miniature pastries are sure to be the hit of any holiday party. Of course, everything is freshly made; never pre-packaged. If there's a birthday celebration in your near future, the Ritz pastry and Coffee Shop is the spot to get the cake perfect taste to suit any taste.

Everything from custom cakes to ice cream cakes are available. In the event that you've waited until the last minute, or perhaps forgotten to order your custom cake in advance, there are usually a few freshly made confections on hand. Shop early to avoid disappointment. These cakes are so mouth watering that they're usually sold out by the end of the day. By the way, if you need a card to go with that cake, the shop also has an assortment of greeting cards to suit any occasion.

Don't just let'em eat cake. The Ritz Pastry and Coffee Shop is a mecca for lovers of fresh bread. So many yeasty varieties are available, that they're too numerous to mention, but you're sure to find the perfect loaf to suit any need. Best of all, Thursday through Sunday breads are buy one, get one free. The sandwiches are sure to be more tasty around your house.
