He recommended that the fire com- pany be supported through a tax levy instead of through public sub- scription and fund raising activi- ties, Perpetual Care Is Planned For Zion Cemetery FROSTBURG--Frostburg Mem- orial Park, has voted to in- clude the former German Re- brmed or Zion Evangelical Cem- etery on Mt. Pleasant Street in he program of maintenance and perpetual care under which the brmer Aliegany Cemetery has been operated since June 1950.

Both burial grounds are located or near. Frostburg Zion Cemetery having been owned and nanaged for several generations ay the consistory of Zion United Church of Christ. A spokesman stated that fami- lies concerned with Zion Ceme- tery have not raised the complete quota -to qualify that cemetery for inclusion, but that the park corp- oration deemed it wise not to with- hold approval for a year. Born at Barton, he was a son of the late Albert and Isabelle (Moore) Myers. Mr. Myers was a Retired employe of the Engin- eering Department of 'Celanese Fibers Company and was owner of the Myers Grocery Store in Corriganville.
