Copeland Ridgeland Denone S. Copeland, 65, of Ridgeland, died Sept. 1, 2005, at her son's home. Funeral services were held Sept. 3 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. a native of Ridgeland, was a retired beautician. She was a past Matron of the Eastern Star, past president of Bolton Business Club and past president of Women of the Church for First Presbyterian of Madison. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Copeland.

Survivors include: her son, Therman L. Howard Jr. and wife Jennie of Ridgeland; her brothers, Otha Lloyd Shivers and wife Anne of Pickens and Walter Wayne Shivers of Ridgeland; two grandchildren, Jeramiah Howard and Samantha Tyson; and one great-grandchild, Mallory Tyson. Ora D. Williams Canton Mrs. Ora D. Williams, 94, of Canton, died Sept. 1,2005, at Madison County Medical Center.

Zion M.B. Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher in the junior department, and was a member of the Missionary Society Ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Williams. Survivors include: her daughter, Anna Marie Allen and husband, the Rev. Isiah Allen grandchildren, Gregory D.

and Percy L. Williams; three great -grandchildren; one brother, Lacy L. McDonald wife Ada McDonald of Chicago; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carolyn Chappell Kennedy Brandon Mrs. Carolyn Chappell Kennedy, 63, of Brandon, died Sept.3, 2005, at her home.

Funeral services were held Sept. 7 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland. Mrs. Kennedy, a native of Transylvania, had lived in the area for the past 20 years. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Kirkland Properties for six years.

Survivors include: her daughter, Susie Brock and husband Miller of Madison; her son, Richie Johns and wife Teresa of Ridgeland; sisters, Voree Walters of Tallulah, Sybil Magee of Theriot, Wanda Swilley of Pass Christian, Betty Zane McConnell of Ferriday, and Jimmie Gayle Rinicker of West Mon- roe, brother, Norman Chappell of Transylvania, and grandchildren, Luke and Walker Johns and Elizabeth and Caroline Brock. Guillaume 'Bill' Marchant Madison Guillaume Henri "Bill" Marchant, 82, of Madison, died Sept.

5, 2005, at St. Catherine's Village of Madison. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Mr. Marchant, a native of the Netherlands, had lived in the Metro Jackson area for over 60 years.

He was a veteran of the Royal Dutch Air Force and was a pilot during World War II. He was the former president of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers. After retiring from United Gas Company he started his own business, MCM Systems. Survivors include: his wife, Jacqueline Mullins Marchant of Madison; sister, Magdalena Ten Siethoff; and brother, Henri Louis Marchant, both of the Netherlands; sons, Eddy Marchant of Jackson, Doug Marchant of Memphis and Wim Marchant of Birmingham; grandchildren, Michelle, Trey, Melissa, Lauren, Meagan and Derrick Marchant; and greatgrandchild, William "Wim" Vandiver.
