The church held a special business meeting on Thursday evenIng Augual 30 and voted to continue with the present united church program with the New Market and Silver City Baptist Churches through December 1957 Rev. Charles R. Martin from the Iowa Baptist Convention WAS present for this meeting.

Rev. and Mrs. Ray Heckert attended the meeting of the Southwestern Baptist Association Miasions Committee on Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist Church at Red Oak, Iowa. A new roof is being installed on the church this week. The Gearhart Lumber Company of Malvern, lowa are the contractors in charge of this project.

The Methodist Church Rev. Ward W. Watson, Pastor Sunday School, 10 A. m. Morning Worship, 11 a.

MYF Sunday evening at 8 p.m. Rev. and Mra. Ora L. Reep left Monday morning for their new home at Moulton.
