Where did you grow up? Palos Park. Pets? Two cats, Stewart and Lucky. Who would play you in the movie of your life? Walter Matthau. First job? Working at a camera store in Palos Heights. As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to become a classical musician. Instead, I own a business in technology. A movie you'd recommend? The Met in HD, where you can see opera streaming live at the IMAX theater on Randall Road in Batavia. Favorite charity? Chicago Foundation for Women. It funds and supports organizations that help women and girls. Hobbies? Music, reading. Favorite local restaurant? Thai Village in Batavia. What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am an ordained Episcopal clergy person. Church to host youth bell choir WHAT: Baker Memorial United Methodist Church will host the Wesley Bell Ringers, a youth bell choir from Salt Lake City, Utah. The 33 members - all high schoolers - will play their nearly 200 precision-tuned handbells in a concert. Archaeological excavation taking registrations WHAT: Registrations are now being taken for individuals who wish to help with an archaeological excavation beginning Wednesday at Garfield Farm Museum. Both novice and experienced volunteers are needed to help excavate, screen, wash and catalogue artifacts in the vicinity of the original log house built in 1835 by the Culbertson family and later expanded in 1841 by the Garfield family. WHEN: Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 6 to 10 and June 13 to 17 at the museum. WHERE: The museum is on Garfield Road, north of Route 38 in Campton Hills.
