Favored Bullet Hanover led a select field of 11 colts, the fastest in history, into the prestige-packed Little Brown Jug pacing classic today at this scenic county fairgrounds track. The Bullet, driven by two-time Jug winner Johnny Simpson, was expected to go cff at 8-5 in the odds. Simpson, who won the Jug behind Noble Adios in 1956 and with Torpid in 1957, confidently predicted his big brown colt was "the horse to beat" in the 15th renewal of the $66,510 race for 3-year-old pacers. "They'll have to set a world record to beat my horse," he said.
