Some of the humor is more sophisticated than you'd expect. 10:30 (12) Face the Nation: Sen. Ralph Smith (R-Ill.) and Adlai Stevenson III, who opposes him in an upcoming Senate race.

By TOM DUPREE This is a very exciting week on television for Jackson. Not the least of the events is the second full week of network programming from WAPT, channel 16, thus finally providing us with a full three-network schedule all week, ad eliminating the biggest headache which has plagued Jackson since the first TV was plugged in. Not only will ABC's schedule be run over channel 16, but some outstanding syndicated series will be seen locally on the station: Perrv Mason, Alfred Hitchcock, The Twilight Zone, and a doggoned John Wayne Film Festival, featuring one film of the Duke's every Saturday night.
