TRENTON A lot happens between New York and Philadelphia, especially during the summer months, and Channel 52's new summertime series will be moving throughout the Garden State to record just what does happen. The new Jerseyvision summertime program is called: "A Lot Happens Between New York and Philadelphia." It debuts tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. and repeals on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

With emphasis on leisure-time activities, entertainment and the unusual, the 13-week series will give viewers a look at the Garden State they might not have seen before. Cameras also will take peeks at familiar scenes perhaps from different angles of the parks, the beaches, the countryside and events that all New Jerseyans can share. Cameras will be focused on people and places we might see everyday, but from a side we never see such as behind the counter in a diner; on the other end of the clippers at the barber shop; or seeing a drawbridge operate without worrying about being late for work. Each half-hour program will include five or more individual segments dealing with happenings in New Jersey. The auditioning of cattle at Cowtown in South Jersey will be featured.
