Berlin Twp. Police Chief Dies at 40 COURIER- POST, Camden, N. Wednesday, March 30, 1960 OBITUARIES BURLINGTON George F. Adams, 58 cashier at the Public Service Electric and Gas Commercial office here many years, died Monday in his home, 331 E. Union st.

An Army veteran of War Mr. Adams was past commander of McFarland Post 79. American Legion; past Chef'de Guerre, Forty and Eight Voiture 500, Burlington County; past governor of the Burlington Moose a member of the Evening Star Council, Jr. Order of American Mechanics, and a member of the Michell Fire. Company.

Surviving is his wife, Elizabeth three sons John, at home, George F. of Burlington, and Richard, of Beverly; two brothers, Palmer of Cinniminson and Fred, of Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Florence Warner, of Burlington, and six grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 1 p. m.

MRS. PASQUALINA CONSALO VINELAND Mrs. Pasqualina Consalo, 92, died Monday in her home on Wheat rd. Surviving are five sons, Frank, with whom she lived, Louis, of Camden, Joseph, of Ft. Pierce, Anthony, of Union City, and William, of Glassboro: three daughters.

Mrs. Mary Miraglia, of Medford, Mrs. Lena DeVito and Mrs. Philomena Tursi, of Merchantville; thirty-seven grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends will meet at 8.30 a.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a retired machinist. Surviving are his wife, Mabel of 226 W. Atlantic Audubon; two sons, William of Green Haven, Delaware Township, and Edwin, of West Berlin; three daughters. Mrs. Florence Simpson, of Kingston Estates, Mrs.

Mary Bailey, of Barrington, and Miss Elsie Tevis, of Audubon, and seven grandchildren. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, under the direction of the Holl Funeral Home, 15 West End Haddonfield. HENRY G. GOHL Henry G. Gohl died Tuesday in his home, 7 W.

Cedar Merchantville. He operated Gohl's Bakery on Park Merchantville, and was a member of the South Jersey Bakers Association. Surviving are his wife, Stella; a son, Michael, and a daughter, Barbara, at home: his father, Gotlieb, of Merchantville, and two sisters, the Misses Rose and Anna, both of Merchantville. Services and burial will be private under direction of Ingles-, by Sons, Pennsauken. There will be a viewing Thursday night in the home.

WILLIAM THORSON William Thorson, 91, died Monday in his home, 15 S. White Horse Stratford. He was a retired farmer. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a. m.

Dr. Dorothy M. Rogers, of 50 Cooper will be honored at a dinner tonight in the Newarker Restaurant, Newark Airport. Dr. Helen Schrack, of Camden, will be the speaker.

Dr. Rogers' accomplishments as a physician were called "outstanding" by the association's selection committee. It is believed Dr. Rogers is the only woman ever elected president of a county medical society in New Jersey. She was president of the Gloucester County Medical Society and also was historian, reporter and secretary.

She been secretary and president of the women's association and was active in the work of the State Medical Society's Dr. Rogers a citacommittee on mentaarded tion in 1957 for her work in cerebral palsy and she served as medical liaison member of the Gloucester County guidance center. She also has been active in the Gloucester County Soroptimist Club. Among her other activities she served as editor of the Gloucester County Medical Society's bulletin from 1953 to 1957. (UPI) City Council recently agreed with City Manager Elgin Crull that the name of "John W. Carpenter Freeway" should be shortened.
