ALSO ELGIN scouting around Osceola Day Camp The Day Camp committee of Oscec!" Neighborhood met with 2 representatives from each Brownie, Junior and Cadette Troop to share ideas for program at this year's camp. Likes and dislikes were discussed, and the women were asked to remind their troop members to get in their registrations right away. Business was followed by fun, and everyone learned now to make large tissue paper flowers and took part in a song fest. This year fishing will definitely be offered to anyone who is interested Also there will be a wild life program, and conservation activities supervised by Ranger Ed Hines. More adults are needed to help the camp run smoothly.

Consultants in archery, gymnastics and music, particularly of the strolling minstrel variety, would be most welcome. The rare privilege of working closely with the girls in a unit awaits those adults who take the opportunity to volunteer as counsellors. Osceola Day Camp 76 will be held at McGraw Wildlife Foundation in East Dundee, Aug. 2-6, and is open to all registered Girl Scouts and to other girls in grades one through 9 in Algonquin and Lake in the Hills. Girl Scouts should register with their Troop Leader by April 30, but non-scouts should contact Sue Rasper at 658-8370 for further details.

Day Camp Chairman is Phyllis Endres and her committee members are Pat Frank, Janet Graf, Sue Kasper, Mary Luebke, Barbara Panczko and Sharon Wright. Day Camp Director will be Skip Morris, a volunteer who has taken special training. Springmaid "Tropic Night" Sheets On Sale!
