The adult chapter was opened with a song led by Lester Shinaberry, followed by Scripture and prayer requested from missionaries, led by Mary Harding, Donald Morris, Georgia Edwards and Rev. Terry Ferris. Another prayer request came from Rev. Elmer Nelson of Panama who is to undergo surgery. The teen group session spotlighted the social, political and religious cultures of other countries.

Participants included Pam Ripley, Clara Hughes, Judy Ferris and Rev. Ferris. The great Easter offering will be received Sunday, benefiting the general budget and missionary program. Junior group members who have read five or six books wore crowns at their session. A red shield was worn by those who have read three or four.

Trials set for trio COSHOCTON Trials were set Friday for three men, each charged with resisting a police officer, disorderly conduct and malicious destruction of property stemming from an early morning incident Thursday in front of the police department on Main st. Charged were Doug Dickerson, 20, of Hill Larry Wohlheter, 19, of 76 W. Pine and Ed Pike, 25, of the Neil Hotel. According to police, the three threw trash barrels around the front of the building, and resisted investigating officers.
