10 NE Sunday, June 24, 1973 Philadelphia Inquirer Thunderbolt Is Top Willow Grove Ride (The Alps derailed June i3, causing minor injuries to 10 riders. The accident was caused, officials reported, when a hat blew onto the rails. A bill that would have required the state to inspect park rides was defeated by the Legislature in 1971.
