They say, looked at what we feel makes for nobs: Small towns with wealthy, educated resi- ents that are nearby lots of theater, art galleries a nd private Scarsdale was No. 6 on the list, ust behind Hunting Valley, Ohio, wherever that may be. Number one of the list of most snobby places to live was Chevy Chase, Md. AreaVibes.com says the methodology behind heir list began with data for every city, village and amlet in America with less than 25,000 people.

hey then came up with a list of more than 20,000 places to measure. we looked at each place in terms of these snobberrific criteria using AreaVibes.com’s and Yelp which included: Median home price Median household income Percent of population with a college degree Private schools per capita Theaters per capita Art galleries per capita ant in? 35 Secor Road in Scarsdale is on the market for the decidedly un-snobby (at least for carsdale) price of $1,050,000. MOST BORING TOWN: Pelham Manor This is based on another survey from AreaVibes- com, which, go figure, ranks the Manor as the sev- nth most boring town in the country. Places in Idaho are apparently less boring than Pelham Manor.
