Patrick's Mass" by Green was written in 1971 and has been performed in London. New York, and Wahington. D.C. This will be the first presentation in the Midwest. The "St.

Patrick's Mass" is written for chorus, tenor solo, and orchestra. In the Mass, Green takes the traditional liturgy and treats it with an Irish idiom. He mixes the traditional with the contemporary by combining traditional melodies with new and exciting thms, and by adding vibraphone, guitar and snare durm to the conventional orchestra of strings, brass and woodwind. "The St. Patrick Mass" is innovative, exciting, and a great example HELD OVER HOT "CHARIOTS OF THE Bv EPICH VAN OAMIKEf WEEKDAYS 7 9 SAT.
