The Rev. William E. Farrell, O.S.A., Villanova University vice president for public relations and development, died of cancer Monday at Fitigerald-Mercy Hospital. He 'was 49. A native of Rochester, iN.

he was graduated from 'iljanova in 1945 with a degree in civil engineering vand entered the Navy's V-12 program as an ensign after graduation. Following World War II, he worked as a civil engineer for jseveral years before entering sthe Augustinian Order in 1950 to study for the priesthood. I He was ordained five years later in Washington, D. C. Following graduate work at i Catholic University, Father (Farrell was assigned to Vil- lanova in 1956 as an instructor In 1962 he was named head of Villanova's Development Program, first as assistant to the president and later as vice president.

He supervised all of the university's fund raising operations, the Alumni Association, the Office of Public Relations and the Career Development Center. He is survived by three brothers: James a lay brother at Villanova Monastery; James of Bowie, and Robert of Mountain View, Cal. A viewing will be at 7 P. M. Wednesday in St.

Mary's Hall Chapel on the Villanova campus. A Requiem Mass will be offered at 11 A.M. on Thursday at the chapel followed by interment in the cemetery adjacent to St. Mary's Hall on the campus. AP Wirephoto REV.

Joseph Siegel, Hosiery Maker Joseph L. Siegel, retired owner of the Cambridge Hosiery Co. died of a heart attack Sunday in the Jefferson Medi-car College Hospital. He was 77 and operated the company for over SO years. Mr.

Siegel, who lived at the Hopkinson House in Washington Square, is survived by his wife, the former Lillian Levin, brother Jack, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Heller and Mrs. Ellsie Rapport. Funeral services will be held at noon today at Joseph Levine and Sons Memorial Chapel, 7112 N. Broad st.

Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery. DELAWARE VALLEY DEATHS A Mass of christian Burial wijl be offered at 10 A. M. Wednesday at Annunciation Church, 10th and Dickinson for Anthony Revello, assistant treasurer of the Marconi branch of Home Un-itjj Savings Loan Association. Mr.

Revello, who was 89, died Saturday of heart failure at his home, 2 Appomattox Laurel Springs, N. J. Prior to becoming assistant treasurer of the savings and loan association's Marconi branch at Broad st. and Pas-syunk Mn Revello had been employed by the John Stetson Co. for more than 50 years.

He retired from Stetson in 1956. Mr. Revello, who resided for many years at 1344 Moore Philadelphia, is survived by two sons, Jerome and Gennaro; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Volpe and Mrs. Marian Coppola, and four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Marianna Zardus. B. D. Earhart, Park Head, 78 Brandt Earhart, retire superintendent of Fort Washington State Park and a former teacher in Springfiel Township High School for over 30 years; died of a heart attack Sunday at his home. He was 78.

Deardorff Social Worker Mrs. Anne B. Deardorff, who served as a medical social worker at Jefferson Hospital for more than 25 years, died of arteriosclerosis Saturday at Phoenixville Manor, where she had been a resident for the past year. She was 89. Mrs.

Deardorff, the former Anne Hunt Bowes, was the widow of Dr. William H. Deardorff, head of the ear, nose and. throat department at Jefferson Hospital prior to his death in 1942. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.

Lena Garber, Hadassah Aide Mrs. Theodore Garber, the former Lena Segal, past president of Congregation Emanu-El and the Oak Lane chapter of Hadassah, died of pneumonia Thursday, in Lower Bucks County Hospital in Bristol.
