The younger Williams was credited with a number of contributions in the field of chemical soil analysis. He was the holder of an Order of Lenin and other decorations for his scien-' tific work. Dr.

AWARD WINNER A 1927 graduate of George Washington University, Mr. Alderson later did graduate work there and at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Pennsylvania. He received many professional awards and was author of several publications on marketing. He was a member of the corporation of Haverford College and a member oi the board of directors of the American Friends Service Committee, for which he made several missions. He was a member of the board of directors of the Council for International Progress in Management.
