It will be remembered that the seven Powell children, including the late Jim. and George, were known as the swimming Powells of Jackson by the S.A.A.U.

Mrs. A. Lewis had a Joint birthday celebration on August 20 in honor of her brother, Sidney Hart of Birmingham and her three year old grandson, Sidney Hart Mach. There was a family dinner at noon and a party for the three-year-olds in the afternoon on the lawn, Shetland pony and all. Mrs.
