Survived by her daughter Clara Lybrand, son Benjamin Lybrand, mother Bennie Lybrand, sister Jan Gliatto, 2 grandchildren, 2 nephews, her son-in-law and her brother-in-law. Her father Elmer Lybrand passed away in January. (Donna was divorced in 1982 and reclaimed her maiden name, as did her children.) Donna received her doctorate in sociolinguistic anthropology from Southern Methodist University, Dallas TX, in 1982. Her included visual anthropology, dance, ritual performance and art. She also worked as a systems analyst for many years. She lived in the Philadelphia area from 1994 1995. She had lived in Northern California since 1995.
