Sgt. Burflat, 3736 W. State, had been in the Air Force 16. years and had returned from Vietnam in September 1966, He came to Phoenix in 1953 and was stationed at Luke AFB at lone time. He was born in South Dakota.

G. Oglesby Phoenician Many Years The Arizona Republic Phoenix, April 15, 1967 WILLIAM G. OGLESBY Graduate of PC William G. Oglesby, 63, head of the college of veterinary medicine at Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, died Thursday in a New Orleans hospital. Mr.

Oglesby was brought Phoenix in 1912 by his father, Ed Oglesby, a former Maricopa County assessor and supervisor. His father died in Phoenix eight years ago. Mr. Oglesby was graduated from Phoenix College in 1921. Later he received a degree veterinary medicine at Oregon State and his doctorate at Iowa State.

After teaching eight years at Michigan State he joined the LSU faculty in 1934. He was born in Clarksville, Mo. Services and burial will be day in Baton Rouge. Survivors include his wife, Nadene; two daughters, Mrs. James Haas of New Orleans Mrs.

Terry Karns of Houma, two brothers, Frank Phoenix and Clark, a professor of engineering at Stanford University; a sister, Mary Oglesby of Phoenix; and three grand-! children. Mr. Oglesby had been a quent visitor to Phoenix in cent years.
