His book Introduction to Helicopter Aerodynamics, published in 1950, was used throughout the industry, Schneider said. From 1969 to 1974, Mr. Stepniewski lectured graduate students on rotary-wing aerodynamics at Princeton University and also served on the doctorate committee there and at Drexel University.

After retiring from Boeing in 1975, he continued there as a consultant until 1992. He also established his own rotary-wing consulting company, International Technical Associate, which he operated from his home. Mr. Stepniewski was an Honorary Fellow of the American Helicopter Society and the Polish Rotor-Wing Society in Poland. He was a Fellow of the New York Academy of Sciences and an Associate Fellow of Yasmin Cooper, 32, published a newspaper By Andy Wallace INQUIRER STAFF WRITER Yasmin Reina Williams Cooper, 32, a native Philadelphian who moved to Florida six years ago and became a newspaper publisher, died Thursday at the home of a friend in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Cooper, who had multiple sclerosis, was on the way to pick up her son from school when she began feeling sick and stopped at the friend's house. There, she suffered a seizure and went into cardiac arrest. She was a 1989 graduate of Drexel University, where she majored in business administration. The following year, she moved to Florida to care for her cousin, M.A.

Hall Williams, who owned and ran the Florida Photo News, an African American weekly newspaper. The cousin died the same year and bequeathed the paper to Mrs. Cooper, who had run it since. While there, she met her future husband, William E. Cooper when she joined the church where he was associate minister.

When he moved to the St. Paul A.M.E. Church of Boynton Beach, she became active in the Women's Missionary Society there. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Cooper graduated from Episcopal Academy in 1984 and attended Spelman College in Atlanta before earning a bachelor's degree at Drexel.

She was a member of the Christian Stronghold Baptist Church and sang with its Christian Sound Choir. Besides her husband, she is survived by their son, Stephen who is being treated for fibromatosis, a type of cancer, at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia; daughter, Julianna her four brothers; and her parents, Andrew A. and Reina Garcia Williams. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Christian Stronghold Church, 4701 Lancaster Ave.

Friends may call there after 9 a.m. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Chester. He served as the President of its subsidiaries and President and CEO of Curtis Publishing Comapny and as Vice Chairman and Director of Cadence Industries in Philadelphia.
