BROWNVILLE, Neb. (AP) -A veteran left-handed fiddier from Oregon, Cyril Stinnett, won first prize in the fiddling division of the Old Time Fiddlers and Country Music Contest here over the weekend. The two-day affair drew 12,000 persons to hear the 12th replay of an effort to preserve and promote oldtime fiddling, sponsors said. Harry Hanson, Gordon, won second place, and Pete Stinnett of St. Joseph, placed third Jerry Bowen of Meriden, won the pickers division, while last year's winner, Jack Fisher of Pawnee, placed second and Edward Blank of Salina, was third.

Missourian Wins Fiddlers Title Two Women Alone in Car Wounded by Shots Unidentified Men Are Sought In Rural Incident. POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (AP)Four unidentified men were sought today in connection with a shooting incident on a rural road which left two women motorists hospitalized. Audrey Monroe, 29, and Terry Ford, 26, were listed in satisfactory and serious condition, respectively, at Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston. They told officers they were shot as they drove along Route DD in rural Stoddard County near Bloomfield.

The women told police a late-model auto with four occupants pulled alongside their vehicle about 1 a. m. after blocking their way momentarily at a bridge. Miss Monroe said the shots were fired just as the vehicle pulled alongside her car. SCOUTS Troops to Have Organizational Meeting Cadette Girl Scout Troops 168 and 242 will have their organizational meeting Tuesday after school in the social hall of the United Methodist Church.

Larry Vance and Mrs. Maynard Lippe, 4-H Clubs Rich Hill Junior Workers Have Picnic The Rich Hill Junior Workers 4-H club met at Simpson Park Thursday evening for a swimming party and picnic. After swimming, a short business meeting was held. In the absence of the president and vice-president, Nina Lollar presided. Preparations for 4-H Week were discussed.

Mrs. Gerald Stephens, Community leader, gave each member a standard report form to fill out and return to the extension center by Aug. 3. Each family was asked to buy 4-H Fair membership to complete the club goal for the year and each 4-Her was to get a dental checkup to complete the health goal. The Herman Casady family hosted the picnic for 4-Hers and their families.

The next meeting will be Sept. 16 at Rich Hill 4-H building. Parents night will be observed and refreshments will be fruit. SECOND BUSINESS FIRM BURNS AT LAWRENCE LAWRENCE, Kan. (P) A fire of undetermined origin destroyed the Jayhawk Bowling Supply early today in downtown Lawrence, scene of a similar blaze to another business less than a week ago.

Damage to the Jayhawk store was estimated at $45,000. Less than a week ago, the Merle Norman Cosmetic store in the same block suffered 000 damage in a similar blaze. Columban's Catholic church provided the setting at half-after seven o'clock Friday evening, August 20, 1971, when Miss Brenda Lynn Anderson and Mr. Richard John (Rick) O'Haldoran were united in the sacrament of holy matrimony. Parents of couple are Mr. and Mrs. Clithro L.

Anderson of 1306 Dorney drive and Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. O'Halloran of 1020 Elm street. Fr.

Eugene Howe performed the double-ring nuptial mass before an altar adorned with two baskets of mixed flowers and greenery atop white columns. Servers of the mass were Dennis O'Halloran, Donald O'Halloran, and Michael O'Halloran, brothers of the bridegroom, and James Ruckdaschel of Kansas City, cousin of the bridegroom. Mrs. Ken Walters, organist, played wedding' selections as guests were seated by Mr. Brent Anderson, brother of the bride; Mr.

Timothy O'Halloran, brother of the bridegroom; Mr. Michael Ruckdaschel of Kansas City, cousin of the bridegroom, and Mr. Jerry Brockhaus. Escorted down the aisle by her father, the bride wore a gown of sheer white batiste flocked in a daisy motif, Heavy daisy lace edged the high collar and short puff sleeves and encircled the slightly raised waistline. The bodice of the floor-length gown was trimmed with tiny pearl buttons and loops.

Her elbow-length veil of illusion drifted from a bow on the back of an open work Juliette cap of daisies and clusters of pearls, She carried a casual round bouquet of yellow and sweetheart roses, blue and ice blue mums and carnations, and white stephanotis and baby's breath tied with yellow, white, and blue streamers. Carrying the rings on a white satin pillow was Master Darren Anderson of Braymer, cousin of the bride, For her daughter's wedding. Mrs.

Anderson chose a dress of textured polyester, matching accessories, and a white glamellia corsage. Mrs. O'Halloran, mother of the bridegroom, wore a pink frosted polyester dress, white accessories, and a pink glamellia corsage, Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Strand Hotel. Presiding at the guest book was Miss Recil Skinner, Miss Barbie Carter and Miss Cynthia Anderson of Kingston, cousin the bride. were in charge of gifts.

The bride's table was covered with white crepe and a laceedged tulle overlay. The centerpiece. an arrangement in. volving the bride's bouquet and the bouquets of the attendants, was flanked by silver candelabra holding white tapers. The five-tiered wedding cake was edged with mixed flowers, separated columns and mixed flowers, and topped by a silver wedding cross and a ring of flowers.

Punch was poured from a silver bowl and cake, nuts, and mints were served by Miss Marcia Skinner and Miss Jody Bagley of Chillicothe and Miss Linda Ruckdaschel of Kansas City, cousin of the bridegroom. Mr. O'Halloran, a second semester senior at Northwest Missouri State College, has a position with the CPA firm of Harden. Cummins, Moss, and Miller in Maryville. Mrs. O'Halloran is a junior at Northwest State majoring in elementary education.

(P) When guests ask Miss Michelle Hoegler Saturday where she got her lovely bridal gown, her response will be untypical: "Why Daddy made It!" It's the second wedding gown that Edward L. Hoegler, 55, has made. The first was for another daughter, Rosemary, in 1961.

Hoegler, a brawny, 6-1, 195- pound carpenter, has been sewing since childhood. His projects have included first communion dresses for his four daughters and a first communion suit for his son. "It's relaxing and interesting and your mind is different when you sew. I like to watch the work develop from pattern to sew-up to finished work," he explained. But Hoegler is cautious.

Robertson, viceo president and trust officer of the Citizens National Bank, returned Saturday from the National Trust School held on the campus of the Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.

Some 500 bankers from all parts of the country were in attendance for the 2-week session of the school sponsored by the American Bankers Association: Bankers, businessmen and educators make up the faculty of the school which offers several types of programs geared to individual needs. JACKIE ONASSIS FLEES ON A STREETCAR WARSAW, Poland UP) Jacqueline Onassis used an empty streetcar to get away from a pushing crowd following the funeral of Prince Edmund Radziwill, brother-in-law of her sister, Lee Radziwill. Thousands of Warsawians jammed the street outside the small cemetery Saturday and forced Mrs.

Onassis to walk through a potato field following the funeral. Pursued by a jostling crowd into the field, she then turned back and slipped into an empty streetcar immobilized by the throng. Aides and well held off the crowd and told the driver to pull away. Mrs. Onassis later changed for a waiting car.
