19. Arrangements by Florida Memorial Funeral Home. KEITH PHILLIPS Melbourne Keith A. Phillips, 70, died Thursday, November 18, 2004 in Palm Bay. Keith was born in Amboy, Ind.

He was employed by General Hotel and Restaurant Supply Co. He moved to Brevard County in 1966 from Fort Lauderdale. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Satellite Beach. He was Past Commander of the Banana River Power Squadron. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty J.

Phillips; sons, Don, Rodney and Richard Phillips; grandchildren, Jennifer, Amber, Jonathan, Sarah, Rebekah and Timothy; greatgranddaughter, Emma; brother Dr. Ronald Phillips. A Memorial service will be Monday, November 22, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at Brownlie-Maxwell Chapel. Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne is in charge of arrangements.

723-2345. ROBERT DURKIN Melbourne Robert F. Durkin Maj Gen, Ret passed away Nov.14, 2004. Bob was born Feb. 13,1936 in US Youngstown, Ohio to James Patrickand Mary Aldean Taafe Durkin.

Bob was a 1954 graduate of Youngstown's South High School and a 1958 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He received his Masters Degree from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute in 1966. He had a distinguished 32 year career in the United States Air Force before retiring in 1990. Bob then spent several years consulting and working for Harris Corporation in Melbourne.

In 2001, he became a true retiree, spending time working on his golf handicap and fishing the waters of Brevard County. Bob is survived by his wife Judith I. Durkin of Melbourne, three daughters, Lynn Hayes of Charleston, W.Va., Julie Emertand son-in-law Scott Emert of Port St. John, and Mary JaneDurkin of Orlando, five grandchildren, SPC Spencer Emert, Sara Emert, Jessica Durkin, Robert Hayes, and Morgan Hayes, threesisters Patricia Burns and husband Jim of Naples, Eileen Frederick and husband Larry of Libertyville, Ill, Margaret McCarty and husbandTed of Westerville, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Arlington National Cemetary, Arlington, VA on January 3, 2005 at Friends who wish, may make a donation in Bob's memory to USMA Class of 58 Fund, 120 Regent Dr.

Bel Air, Maryland 21014-593. SHARON BOTHWELL Satellite Beach Sharon Bothwell, 59, of Satellite Beach, WednesNovember 2004. Born in Indianapolis, Ind. was a longtime resident of Satellite Beach. She worked as a personnel liaison assistant with the Space and Missile Center, Eastern Range Program Office at Patrick Air Force Base for over 18 years.

An avid gardener she loved all animals, especially her dogs, Sandy and Belle. Sharon is survived by her husband, Hugh E. Bothwell, Jr. of Satellite Beach; her two children, daughter Sheryl A. McQuillan, and son, Michael E.

Bothwell both of Stafford, Va; her mother Opal Maursetter; three brothers, Thomas Maursetter, Jerry Maursetter, and Joseph Maursetter; one sister, Sandra Rush; and three grandchildren, Jennifer McQuillan, Andrew McQuillan and Sean McQuillan. Her father Ronald Maursetter, Sr. and brother, Ronald Maursetter, Jr. preceded her in death. Following her wishes, there will be no local services.

A gathering of family will be held at a later date in Stafford, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the William Child's Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, Florida 32907. Born in Milwaukee, Wis. she moved to Florida in 1972 with her late husband, Dr.

Aubrey Means Hutton. They were best friends, and life partners for 37 years before his death in 1977. Connie was a member of the Red Hat Society, Wednesday Lunch Bunch, the Bridge Club at Glenbrooke, and the Alamanders Square Dance Group. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling, plays, movies, and living life to its fullest. A passionate scrabble player, she loved her weekly games with her family.

Her family includes her son, Robert Hutton and his wife, Joanne; daughters, Belle Graziano and Jill Dahlquist; grandchildren, Rick DiGiovanni, Carla DiGiovanni, Lea DiGiovanni, Tait Dahlquist, Jessie Dahlquist, and David Hutton and his wife, Jean; great-grandchildren, Skyler and Cole; five step grandchildren; her sister, Lillian Wunsch; and her beloved cat, Tootsie. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the Community Center Clubhouse at Glenbrooke at Palm Bay, 315 Briar Creek Boulevard NE, Palm Bay. BETTY BURR Merritt Island Betty Ruth Burr, 93, died Thursday, November 18, 2004 at Merritt Island Health and Rehab. Ruth was born in Wallace, N.C. She came to Brevard County in 1971 from California. His civilian career began in Middletown, Conn. where he was employed by Pratt Whitney Aircraft. He moved to Merritt Island in 1974 to work for Lockheed at the Kennedy Space Center. He was a talented artist, technical illustrator, manager and proposal writer. Derick is survived by his son, Ryan Patrick McClanan and his wife Reanee McClanan of Virginia Beach, brother Dale McClanan of Stratford, sister, Debra McClanan-O'Neil and her husband, Bernie O'Neil of Atlanta, Ga; cousin Whitney M.

Foster of West Palm Beach; cousin David Conson and aunt Jane Conson of Wellsboro, Pa; nephews Keith McClanan of North Attleboro, Mass. and Mark McClanan of Cape Cod, Mass. and their wives Holly and Michelle. He is predeceased by his parents, Mary "Connie" McClanan and Francis "Mac" McClanan, and grandmother Zelpha McClanan, formerly of Merritt Island. He was a member of the Veteran's of Foreign War Post 4228 of Titusville.

LOUISE TALBERT Decatur, Illinois Louise Henry Talbert, 99, of Decatur, III. passed away on October 29, 2004. She was a 30 year winter resident at Washington Arms in Titusville. She attended First United Methodist Church in downtown Titusville. Louise was born on December 19, 1904 in Decatur, the daughter of James O.

and Georgie (Bean) Henry. She married Wilmier M. Talbert M.D. on July 2, 1928 in Decatur. He preceded her in-death on October 30, 1968.

She worked with the Red Cross Blood Bank for many years. She was a graduate of the Macon County School of Nursing in 1927 and was a member of the Alumni Association. Louise was a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1916 and a lifetime member of the Decatur Quilt Guild. She was a member of the Macon County Medical Auxiliary and was a Meals on Wheels Volunteer in Decatur and Titusville. Surviving are her son James Talbert and wife Sharen of Mims; daughter Patricia Smith and husband Sidney of Forsyth, Ill; and daughter-in-law Cecilia Talbert of Pleasanton, Calif; grandchildren Mary Gwin and husband Kenneth, Linda Lubash and husband Pat, Michael Talbert M.D.

and wife Janice, Phillip Talbert and wife Kim (Plogstedt), Sidney Smith and wife Kate, Daniel Smith and wife Theresa, Susan Smith, Tricia Kuhblank and husband Doug of Rockledge, and Tracy Broome and husband Michael of Winston-Salem, N.C., as well as 14 great-grandchildren.
