L. Dodge and Mrs. M. D. Webster 1 FEATURED IN UNDERTAKINGS OF FEDERATION OF WOMEN'S CLUBS IN CITY AND STATE The sixteenth annual congress of the National Society of New England Women will be held on May 7, 8 and 9 at Hotel Bond, Hartford, Conn.

Hartford Colony will be hostess to the congress. Delegates from the Minneapolis Colony to the congress are Mrs. Austin Morse, president; Mrs. L. L.

Dodge, national director; Mrs. M. D. Webster and Mrs. Daniel Fish.

WASHINGTON COMMU NITY I'LITJ PLANS ACTIVITIES An informal discussion of flower raising In the apartment house down town district will be the main feature at the meeting of Washington Community club to be held on Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock at the Neighborhood house. The advisability of planting flow, era in window boxes or in small gardens will be talked over and there will be a special spring program of music.

Egan I House to Benefit from Deafened Plan for Display League for Hard of Hear ing to Hold Exhibition TTANDICRAFT made by the members of the Minneapolis League for the Hard of Hearing will be on exhibition four days next week, beginning on Wednes-day at 800 Hennepin avenue. The display Is planned to acquaint the public with the work of the organization. There will be nothing for sal.

Mrs. Alice R. Strobridge, executive secretary of the organization, sent out the following letter regarding the exhibit: "We are to have articles made by both men and women, local peo ple, all hard of hearing, and we are eager to have those who are losing their hearing come In and get helpful Information about themselves, and suggestions as to things they can do to earn a living or occupy themselves with. We shall have a machine used to give gas to dental patients, architectural drawings, laboratory work, engraved jewelry, welding, metal plating, book-binding, candy making, radio equipment by one of our own members especially fitted to the hard of hearing, photography, wood carving, sewing of various kinds, children's dresses, quilts, pillows, dressed dolls, rugs, lamp shades and such things. Attendants will be on hund to explain things.

The hearing of all who wish It will be tested by the 3 A Audiometer, and the 4 A Audiometer (I he one used In tho city schools to test the hearing of 40 'children at a time) ill bo on display. There will also be a displuy of Individual hearing aids and a demonstration of lip reading will be given every day by Mis Ida P. Lindquist und Mrs. W. F.

II.

Mrs. Louis also is the state chairman of the Better Homes in America committee. Mrs. Kinyon, author of the district's prize-winning drama, "Daring Daughters," which was presented as part of the annual meeting program today in the Francis I room of the hotel. Mrs.

Nelson is a member of the house committee assisting with arrangements for the meeting. Mmes. Titsworth, Bell and Shaw are in the group planning for the state convention of the Federation to be held in Minneapolis in September. Mrs. Titsworth gave a toast at the Nicollet hotel at noon today at the birthday party luncheon of the Schoolmasters' Wives' club.

South Side Neighborhood Event at Temple Israel May Pyia THE DELIGHTS of the big top that bring joy 10 me neons of adults and children alike aro promised at a huge Indoor circus to be staged by the Council of Jewish Women at Temple Isreal Com-tminlty Center, Hennepin avenue and Twenty-fourth street, Saturday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m. The proceeds will be donated to the South Side Neighborhood House. Those In charge of the ufiair are planning a sawdust ring, complete sideshow and all features that aro usually found on the circus lot, with dancing as an additional attraction. Members of the organ-Ization will blossom out as bareback riders, acrobats and trapeze There will also be trained animal acts and a small army of clowns.
