AL the City THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER Thursday, January 30, 1997 Notices Obituaries Noah Robinson Sr. Jesse Jackson's father, 88 Noah Robinson 88, the father of the Rev. In a 1988 interview, he said the discovery was "interesting, but it was not traumatic." But his half-brother, Noah Robinson said: "Being born out of wedlock bothered him disproportionately to the way it did anyone else we grew up with. Humiliation. That's the fuel that pushes Jesse."
