Local Legionaires To Participate in Colorful Ceremony The American Legion Department of Illinois announces a gigantic massed initiation of World War II members and one of the largest massed color parades ever put together for Monday, night, Nov. 19, in Chicago at the Coliseum. Assembling at six o'clock at Wacker drive, the parade will march directly to the Coliseum. The former National champion post band from Milwaukee will play the National colors to the stage. Another musical organization wili play in the department's colors of all the departments and posts and successive musical organizations wiil play almost all of the 868 post colors of Illinois.

Every post of the department has been arged to bring their post colors and to assign two men, approximately five feet six inches tall carry, the colors in the parade.
