He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cleo Bloom Levinsky; four children, Steven, Ann, Donna Milewski and Kathleen Somach; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at p.m today in the Chapel at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 215 Belmont Bala Cynwyd. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Rep. Steven H. Schiff N.M.), 51, a fiveterm congressman who helped research the ethics case against House Speaker Newt Gingrich, died at his home here yesterday after a battle with cancer. Rep. Schiff had been fighting aggressive squamous-cell skin cancer for more than a year.

He had been absent from Washington since last April but had continued to conduct congressional business from home. Because of his illness, he announced in January that he would not run for reelection this November. Gingrich had been accused of using tax-exempt groups for partisan goals. Wright Sr. Retired finance executive, 62 ASSOCIATED PRESS Richard D. Wright 62, formerly of Middletown Township, Delaware County, a retired financial executive for a Blue Bell construction and engineering firm, died of a ruptured aorta Saturday in Marco Island, where he had a winter home. Mr. Wright retired last year from Henkels McCoy in Blue Bell a as vice president and chief financial officer.

He had been with the company since 1983; he formerly served as controller and was a member of its board of directors. He previously held several financial positions with Smith Kline Beckman now SmithKline Beecham, in Philadelphia from 1965 to 1983. He began his career at Radio Corp. of America in Cherry Hill in 1963. Mr.

Wright was born in Chester and reared in Middletown Township. He had lived in Waretown, N.J., since 1981 and had a second home in Marco Island for the last nine years. He previously lived in Indian Mills, N.J., for many years. Mr. Wright graduated from Media High School and then served in the Coast Guard from 1956 to 1960 before earning a bachelor's degree in business administration from Pennsylvania State University.

He was a member of Manahawkin (N.J.) Baptist Church and of several professional organizations, including the Financial Executives Institute. Mr. Wright enjoyed sailing and fishing, said a son, Richard D. Jr. He is also survived by his wife of 38 years, Joan Cooke Wright; two other children, Paul D.

and Susan H. Grant; a sister; and three grandchildren.
