PAGE 24 SANDUSKY REGISTER NOV. 4, 1967 Teett '67 Erie County voters approach the polls November Tlh and questions of candidates and issues come to the final stage of decision in the voting booth. Many parents might well ask their teen age offspring who is running and what issues are at slake f.nd be pleasantly surprised with answers. Students throughout trie County have been given the opportunity tc vote on this years slate, thanks to Board of Elections, and the results of their vote will bt made public after the election. The teen vote will an interesting comparison.

MARGARETTA STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENT Kenneth Heiberger closes the curtain as he started that school student voting program. AU students of the Castalia High School given the opportunity to vote. (Register McCullough) DAVID MIX checks the ticket near a bust of Abe Lincoln before entering the booth. Comments like "I never heard of those guys" and "how do I get out of hero" came up frequently. TOGETHERNESS for girl voters was common as they tx- pressed an initial (giggly) fear toward voting booth.

STUDENTS took a serious approach toward who was running for what. Complaints of "undemocratic" were voiced in cases of unopppjed candidates. GIRLS CHAT in tho privacy of the election booth as the boys wait patiently for their turn. Registration was handled by student council officers..
