San Antonio 28. Three win in softball Three softball games were played Wednesday night. Sheraton and Fleming's won in play, while Saco garnered a Slo-Pitch victory. League Sheraton 6, Sledzik's 5 Duane Dill singled home Dave North in the seventh to lead Sheraton to an opening win. Rick Gottardi two hits and picked up the mound win, while Paulina had two hits for the losers.

Fleming's 16, Clymer 5 Wade Tanner smacked two homers, and Mike Martyak hit one, to lead Fleming's 20-hit attack. Mark Mechling, Bill Buterbaugh and Ron George each had three hits for the winners, while Campbell had two for the losers. Slo-Pitch Saco 9, National Beer 8 Jim Cook doubled home Brian Stewart and Roger Finotti in the bottom of the seventh to lift Saco to its second win of the season. Cook and Mark Krynock each had three hits for the winners, whose Bill Gressley got the win.
