Leach of Plainfield the final member seated. Mrs. Leach, Hendricks County vice chairman, was elected vice chairman for the 6th District at a special meeting Wednesday night.

Election of district officers was 'held up when the committee deadlocked in the reorganization meeting Tuesday. Incumbent chairman John W. Bailey Greenwood, and Paul H. Green, Zionsville, each received six. votes.

The state committee named Bailey chair. man Wednesday. The state committee reelected its chairman, James T. Neal, editor and president of the Noblesville Ledger. He told a news conference after the state reorganization meeting it is "not my intention" to stay on as chairman beyond the June 23 1.

I.U. Ballot Count Saturday Ballots for the election of an Indiana University alumnus who will serve on the 1. U. board of trustees will be opened Saturday at Bloomington. Dr.

Joseph M. Black, of Seymour, a past president of the Indiana University Alumni Association, is one of 10 didates seeking the trustee post now held by Robert H. Menke, of Huntingburg, Menke, who has served two three-year terms on the board as an elected alumni representative, is not seeking re-election. Jones Seymour Continued from Page One Foundation and served on the 1968 student Rose Bowl committee. In medical school he was active in Nu Sigma Nu medical fraternity serving as president in 1970-71. He was employed as an extern at Community Hospital, Indianapolis, and at Shelbyville. Jones is married to the former Martha Roland of Tell City. Beginning July 1, he will start a four -year program of training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and he and his wife will live at 21 Oakwood Drive there.

After he completes his specialty training, Jones plans to set up practice in a fairly small town, possibly in Indiana. VanScyoc is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth VanScyoc, 900 West Eighth street. He is a 1964 graduate of Seymour Senior High School where he was a member of the football team for four years.

He attended Wabash College at Crawfordsville where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. While in medical school, he was accepted as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. VanScyoc is married to the former Emalee Brackemyre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.

Harold Brackemyre, of Seymour R1. He will begin an internshipresidency program in family practice at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on July 1 and he and his wife will live at 1156 North Whitcomb avenue there.
