She will perform at The Greek Sept. 19. 39 I Ringo Starr Moody Blues Moody Blues The new Moody Blues release, "Keys of the Kingdom," continues the band's tradition of soaring melodies and emotional lyrics, but without the heavy wash of technology that has marked many of the group's releases.

Uncharacteristically, technology took a back seat on this Moody Blues project. Over the years, the Moodies have been known for using technology to enhance their music. Said band member John Lodge, "At one point the technology started to overwhelm the melody and songs. We've put the perspective back. All of the songs on this album can be played in a room with just a piano or guitar." Moody Blues fans will have the opportunity to hear the band's new music, as well as classics, when the group makes a stop at The Greek Theatre this summer.

The date has yet to be announced. John Denver Singer-songwriter John Denver brings his globally conscious music to The Greek Theatre Friday and Saturday, July 31 and Aug. 1. From a career that has spanned two decades, Denver will perform many of his hits, such as "Rocky Mountain High," "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" and "Calypso." Denver's popularity can be measured by his 14 gold albums in the United States alone. Denver's music reflects a global awareness.

"My Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Ringo Starr and his new AllStarr Band will kick off their world tour in June. They will bring the tour to The Greek Theatre Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 10 and 11. The '92 All-Starr lineup will include Joe Walsh, Nils Lofgren, Todd Rundgren, Burton Cummings and Dave Edmunds. Each of the All-Starrs will perform hit songs from his own repertoire.

Starr will be singing such favorites as "Photograph," "It Don't Come Easy" and songs from his new studio album; scheduled for Tom Jones Welshman Tom Jones will sing at The Greek Theatre Saturday, Sept. 12. Jones' popularity has spanned two decades and many musical styles, including pop, rock, rhythm and blues, rockabilly, country and contemporary urban sounds. His long line of international hits include "It's. Not Unusual," "What's New Pussycat" and a COVer version of Prince's "Kiss," done with the British techno-pop group, Art of Noise.
