30, at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Born in Warwick, R.I., Miss Smith moved to Brevard County 35 years ago. She was a former employee of Patrick Air Force Base. She was a Protestant Miss Smith is survived by several nieces and nephews. No calling hours or services are scheduled.

31, at home. Born in Cranston, R.I., Mr. Richardson moved to Brevard County 21 years ago from Orlando. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Richardson was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, Pearl Harbor Survivors, American Association of Retired Persons and Bombardment Squadron Association 23. He was a Mason who belonged to Lodges 318 and 184 in Omaha, Neb. He was a member of the Noncommissioned Officers Club and served as past president of the NCO club in Okinawa. He received the Silver Star and Cluster, the Oak Leaf Cluster, the Air Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Bronze Medal of Bravery.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Richardson of Satellite Beach; daughters, Patricia Girton of Oakview, and Shirley Mumm of Omaha; mother, Julia Richardson By Lou Simpson FLORIDA TODAY Local artist Martin Hoose, 43, of Cape Canaveral died Monday at home. Mr. Hoose lived for nearly 25 years in Cape Canaveral and was owner of a studio in Cocoa Village. A native of Canandaigua, N.Y., Hoose came to Florida to study at Sarasota's Ringling School of Art. He later moved to Cocoa Beach for the surf in the mid-'60s.

While much of Hoose's early work was more or less representational or impressionistic, he later ville, brothers, Herbert Peterson of California and Carl Peterson of Sweden; sister, Eva Johnson of South Dakota; and several grandchildren. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Frontenac. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow in the Veteran's Garden of Honor at Brevard Memorial Park in Cocoa. IRA REDFERN ROCKLEDGE Ira P. Redfern, 75, a former aerospace draftsman, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, at Wuesthoff Hospital. Mr.

Redfern was born in South Orange Village, NJ. He moved to Brevard County about five years ago from Denville, J. Survivors include his son, Richard Redfern of Rockledge; brother, William Redfern of Corpus Christi, Texas; and sister, Vivian Reed of Colorado Springs, Colo. 2, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne. Mr. Boyd was born in Waldron, Mich. He moved to Big Coppitt Key 36 years ago and was a frequent Melbourne visitor for the past 28 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1760 in Key West and the American Association of Retired Persons national chapter.

FRIEDA KNORR PALM BAY Frieda Knorr, 98, aliomemaker, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne. A native of Germany, Mrs. Knorr moved to Brevard County eight years ago from Cliffside Park, NJ. Survivors include her son-in-law, Alfred Laufert of Palm Bay; granddaughter, Lynn Maire of Morris Plains, and one great-grand-; daughter.

William kutzler I SEBASTIAN William Kutz- Jer, 59, a retired police officer, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, at home. Mr. Kutzler moved to Sebastian seven years ago from his native New York City. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10210.

A veteran of the Korean conflict, he was a U.S. Marine. He attended SL Sebastian Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty Kutzler of Sebastian; two sons, Joseph Kutzler of East Islip, N.Y. and James Kutzler of Sebastian; and two grandchildren.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today with a Catholic wake at 7 p.m. at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian. Services are 11 a.m.

Saturday at St. Sebastian Catholic OBITUARIES 3B storage tanks are in violation of state public health regulations, according to a letter from the state Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services. The agency has notified the city that the tanks don't meet new piping standards and aren't being properly monitored. The tanks are at the city's storage compound. TITUSVILLE Landfill decision: Brevard County Commissioner Truman Scarborough will conduct a meeting to select the site of a construction and demolition debris landfill in North Brevard.

He was a former fire department captain of Pontiac, Mich. He was Lutheran. Survivors include his wife, Stella Worsham of Palm Bay; son, Robert Worsham of Ocala; and sister, Marguerite Smith of Harrisburg. No calling hours or services are scheduled. Burial, to be announced at a later date, will be in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.

Survivors include her son, Bill Martin of Wichita Falls, Texas; sister, Evelyn Layne of Melbourne; one grandson, James Martin of Clarkesburg, W.Va.; and two greatgrandchildren. with burial at Florida Memorial Gardens north of Melbourne. NELSON MORRISON SEBASTIAN Nelson Morrison, 77, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud.

Mr. Morrison was born in Bruce Mines, Ontario, Canada. He came to Indian River County 10 years ago from Milford, Mich. He worked with the League of the Handicapped. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Melbourne.

ERIC PETERSON TITUSVILLE Eric E. Peterson, 79, a retired dairy formulator, died Thursday, Jan. 3, at Parrish Medical Center. A native of Sweden, Mr. Peterson came to Brevard County 20 years ago from Skokie, 111.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Survivors include his wife, Adeline Peterson of Titusville; son, Dennis Michael of Titusville; daughter, Charmaine Mauch of Benson- DEATH NOTICE LEMMIE (BILL) POLK Passed away Tuesday, January 1991, in St. Cloud. Mr. Polk was formerly of Merritt Island.

Mr. Polk was disabled and during his residence in Brevard County he attended Rockledge Achievement Center. Survivors include mother and step-father, Lois and Wes Gallagher of St. Cloud; sisters.
