Shelly Special to The Inquirer Kimber Anne Cunnane, 27, died Sunday as a result of injuries suffered in a traffic accident that day outside Columbia, S.C. A former resident of Glenside, Miss Cunnane had been a saleswoman for the Sears Budget Rent-A-Car Co. in a Columbia.

She was a 1980 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and attended Montgomery County Community College. She had spent the last three years at Hilton Head Island, S.C., and planned to marry Daniel Santomaro of Columbia early next year. According to family members, Miss Cunnane was a free spirit who liked the outdoors, especially the beach, and the people of Columbia. She was a runner and had competed in several triathlons. is survived by her parents, William P.

and Joan Walsh Cunnane, and four brothers Terrence, Patrick, Christopher and Will. Family members said they were grateful to the strangers who comforted Miss Cunnane in her final minutes and to those who treated her brothers well in Columbia. According to South Carolina state police, Miss Cunnane was fatally injured when a moped she was riding was struck from the rear by a pickup truck at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday. A passing motorist followed the truck, and a resident of Richland County, S.C., was arrested Thursday and charged with reckless homicide.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Miss Cunnane was said Thursday at St. Luke the Evangelist Roman Catholic in Glenside. Burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Heart of Camden, Sacred Heart Church, Broadway and Henry Avenue, Camden, N.J. 08104.

Miss Cunnane's father has organized benefits for the group, which rehabilitates houses for the homeless. Another benefit is planned for Oct. 27. Arrangements were by Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, Jenkintown.

Weddings Faraco-Hadlock Greta Faraco and Mark Hadlock were married Aug. 26 at St. Luke's United Church of Christ in North Wales. The Rev. Gary Sattler and the Rev.

Marc Wessels officiated. The bride, daughter of Angelo and Judith Faraco of North Wales, is a graduate of North Penn High School, Bucknell University and Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, where she earned a master's degree. She is an intern in psychol4Pogy at Philhaven Hospital in Lancaster and expects to earn a doctorate next year. The bridegroom, son of George and Cynthia Hadlock of Hammond, N.Y., is a graduate of Hammond Central High School and Wheaton (111.) Colplege, where he earned bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in psychology. Rev.

E. J. Mitchell, 72, longtime pastor The Rev. Edwin J. Mitchell, former pastor at Glenside United Church of Christ, died Sept.

6 at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 72. Mr. Mitchell, a 1941 graduate of Muhlenberg College, earned a bachelor of divinity degree from Moravian Seminary in 1944 and a master's de gree in sacred theology from Mount Airy Seminary in 1947. He served parishes in Danielsville, Allentown and Northampton before becoming pastor at Glenside United Church of Christ in 1963.

After his retirement in 1980, he was appointed pastor emeritus. He was a member, of the board of directors of the Salvation Army of Montgomery County and an organizer of the Men of Retired Age of Northampton, and was active in the Rotary Club of Glenside, where he was a Paul Harris Fellow. He is survived by his wife, Lenore Mitchell; two daughters, Maxine Jones and Joan Baker, and five grandchildren. Services were held Sept. 9 at Glenside United Church of Christ.

Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements were made by John R. Freed Funeral Home of Jenkintown. Dr. John E.

Cooker, Oreland resident Dr. John E. Cooker, 78, of Oreland, died Sept. 9 at Calvary Fellowship Home in Lancaster. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; a son, John E.

Cooker two daughters, Nancy Kirchner and Ruth Cooker, and six grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday at Wetzel Son Funeral Home in Willow Grove. Burial was in Chelten Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia. Arrangements were made by Wetzel Son Funeral Home of Willow Grove. F.L. McCullough, former inspector Francis L. McCullough, 86, formerly of Elkins Park, died Sept.

5 at Hopkins House Convalescent Home in Wyncote. He was a 1921 graduate of Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia and worked as an inspector for Publicker Industries in the city for 48 years until his retirement in 1973. He is survived by a sister, Marguerite E. Dodds, and a brother, Henry J. McCullough.

Herrmann, 88, of Willow Grove, died Monday at Abington Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mary Beebe Herrmann; two sons, Mark Michael and Robert Edward; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Elizabeth Krause and Betty Johnston. Services were held Thursday at the Craft of Abington Funeral Home. Burial was in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.

He was a former resident of Oreland. Mr. Pickard was the former owner of the Library Bindery Co. of Pennsylvania, which was located in Glenside and now is based in Horsham. He was former president of the Library Binding Institute, a national trade organization.

He was a member of the Organization of Christian Businessmen and an elder at Oreland Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Adelaide Ogden Pickard; a daughter, Phyliss P. Ford; a grandson; a brother, William Pickard, and a sister, Bessie Lou Chambless. Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Church, Church and tomorrow at Oreland Presbyterian Roads.

Scholz, resident of Ambler Martha N. Scholz, a resident of Ambler for 76 years, died Sept. 7 at Artman Lutheran Home in the borough. She was 88. Mrs.

Scholz, who was born and raised in Fort Washington, was the widow of Henry M. Scholz. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Whitemarsh for many years and was a member of the church's sewing group. She is survived by a son, Henry a sister, Helen White; three grandchildren and six great -grandchildren.

Services were held Monday at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home in Ambler. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ambler. Arthur W. Fisher, retired comptroller Arthur W. Fisher, 76, of Blue Bell, died Tuesday at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown after a long illness.

He was a retired comptroller for the Army Signal Corps in Philadelphia. Mr. Fisher was a member of Fort Washington Lodge 308 AM and of the Rhododendron and Rock Garden Society of Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, Rose a son, Glenn a daughter, Karen L. Groff; two brothers, Harlan and Norman, and four grandchildren.
