Chester (12-3, 4-1), ranked eighth in The Inquirer's Southeastern Pennsylvania Top 10, got 19 points from Jamar Milsap. But Glen Mills (11-6, 3-2) used a 15-6 fourth-quarter surge to send it to overtime. Rashid Bey, who led Glen Mills with 16 points, converted a three-point play with a minute remaining in overtime for a 64-59 advantage. Bey joined teammates Curtis Williams (14), Artimus Booker (12) and Andre Ward (10) in double figures. In other Del-Val League games: Danny Hess connected on a three-point field goal with 8 seconds left and Sun Valley held on for a 52-50 victory at Penn Wood after the Patriots missed on a last-second shot.

Charles Smith, with 15 fourth-quarter points, outscored host Academy Park singlehandedly in the final period to lift Chichester to a 61-57 victory. Smith finished with a game-high 25 points. Academy Park got 14 points from Willard Ramseur and 12 points and a career-high 16 rebounds from Shannon Overton. Public. Warren Chance and Jamal Lomax powered Furness to a school record for points as the host Falcons opened the Division playoffs with a 103-66 romp over Fels.

Chance contributed 36 points, 24 rebounds and 11 assists. Lomax finished with 33 points to go with 14 rebounds and 12 assists. Sherman De-Shields scored 26 points and Demetrius Hicks 20 to lead Fels. In other Division playoff games: Host Bodine buried Lincoln with an 18-5 run in the third quarter and came away with an 85-60 triumph. League scoring leader Anwar Amin collected 39 points and 16 rebounds for the Ambassadors.

Chris Jones' steal and layup with 5 seconds to play capped a 13-point performance and sealed host Kensington's 55-52 win over German-town. Jones also finished with seven rebounds and six steals. Ben Franklin, behind 28 points by Terrell Wright, dispatched visiting Lamberton, 78-51. Lamberton received 19 points from Keilh Burdine, as well as 17 rebounds from William Taylor. In regular-season action: Antoine Brockington dropped in 27 points to help carry Northeast past host Frankford, 71-54.

David Spady's follow shot with 2 seconds left in the second overtime gave GAMP a 71-70 victory at Edison. Spady finished with 24 points, joining teammates Ivan Tippctt (27) and Kenny Urban (16) in double figures. Edison, which received 29 points and four assists from Terrance Walker, led by two points late in regulation, but Tippctt made good on a pair of free throws with 3 seconds remaining to force overtime. Daniel Prescott scored 22 points and host Southern pulled away from Bok with a 134 run in the third period to earn a 62-53 win. Jermaine Ballow added 14 points for the Rams.

Inter-Ac. High-scoring Germantown Academy guard Alvin Williams was limited to five second-half points, but still led the fourth-ranked Patriots over visiting Penn Charter, 56-54, by hitting the game-winning field goal with 2 seconds remaining. Penn Charter had battled back from a 50-42 deficit to tie it on a pair of free throws by Courtney Batts with 25 seconds left. Williams led the Patriots with 22 points. Steve Goodrich dropped in 25 points for the Quakers.

Chris Person contributed a game-high 21 points, including six in overtime, as seventh-ranked Episcopal Academy won at Malvern Prep, 68-63. The Churchmen sent it to overtime when Mike Abate's three-pointer tied it with 30 seconds remaining in regulation. Haverford School outscored host Chestnut Hill Academy, 15-0, in the first quarter, and went on to defeat the Hillers, 47-19, behind 17 points by Greg Doemling.
